"Lake Bluff Ribfest"
The Lake Bluff BBQ Society 2018 RibFest - October 6th
Be There to Enjoy the Food & Cheer on our Community Church "CheRibs"
The Community Church CheRibs are fielding a team for the second year in a row. Last year CheRibs placed 6th overall out of 19 teams—this year we’re setting our sites on the People’s Choice award—the team that raises the most funds for charity during RibFest. All donations go to Beef4Hunger  http://www.beef4hunger.org .  Consider making a tasty appetizer for the CheRib tent to help raise donations—and come by the tent and say hello, appetizer or no appetizer! From mid-morning to late afternoon by the Gazebo in downtown Lake Bluff. Questions? Send an email to Zach

By popular demand, "Dinners for Eight" is back, and better than ever! Here's how it works...
Since we had such success in the past with Dinners for 8, were starting them up again! It is a great way to meet new people and get to know the folks you see on Sunday. Basically, we take people who sign up and place a total of 8 folks together (this is a rare Community Church adult-only activity) for a Fri or Sat dinner in a host's home. Just let us know if you would like to host, the date you'd like to host, and whether you prefer potluck style or would like to provide the whole meal. If you'd simply like to be a guest, sign up for that! There's no charge though typically guests bring a beverage to share. Sign up on the back table this Sunday or on these links, depending on what you'd like to be:
Please includ e your phone number so Pam Campbell can touch base with you on the details. Thanks - we look forward to setting up dinners over the next 6 weeks!
Mark McMahon Prints are in! If you ordered a "Worship on the Beach" print from us, please bring a check made out to the Community Church for $150 and pick up your signed print at the Coffee Hour. Thanks!
