Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant:
2 Chronicles 7:13,14 works! It worked for Corpus Christi, Texas. After times of repentance the drought was broken; God has filled the reservoirs 98%. It worked for Australia last month, drawing fresh legislation to stop killing babies. A day of repentance is now set for the Oceania islands of the South Pacific and Papua New Guinea on August 26, 2026.
An article below describes this best "Weapon"
WHY AREN’T WE USING OUR BEST WEAPON?
Chapter One: The Unseen Battle.
Nation after nation on planet earth today faces great challenges. Never before experienced storms decimate regions; economies resemble houses of cards; governments are stalemated, not addressing the most critical issues; extraordinary levels of debt rob future generations; terrorists seek to kill us; morality declines; wickedness multiples exponentially, robbing many of our young people especially; human suffering is enormous.
At the same time, much of this is not reported in the media; political administrations put their own “spin” on each situation to curry favor with the public; many people tune out with drugs, mindless social networking, or vapid entertainment. Although there are some positive exceptions, the body of Christ is largely asleep.
Is there anything we can do about it? Yes. It’s time to repent. Like Nehemiah, almost 2,500 years ago, it’s time to repent, both personally and for our nation--- or any nation---- so that the Lord’s mercy, our Best Weapon, can be activated.
An unseen battle is going on beyond the five senses. Weapons are needed to fight in this battle, but most church leaders stay silent and public servants are almost always unaware of the nature of the battle.
As a result our leaders have no idea what proper weapons to use, even assuming they had the moral courage to use them. While watching the nation continue to deteriorate most leaders resort to a tired pattern: they deny responsibility and blame others. At best, a few have the courage publicly to ask “why?” but they often have no spiritual discernment to begin to work on a real solution.
Is there a Best Weapon to resolve all these great challenges, to win the unseen battle? Yes. Did earlier generations in this nation use such a Best Weapon? Yes. Did it work? Yes, time after time. Eight hundred times starting with the Pilgrims. What is it? It’s this: humbly repenting of our own personal and national sins and calling on the Living God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in His mercy to make the battle His own battle.
How do we call on Him? Scripture tells us what to do in the face of any catastrophe, each of which the Lord is sovereign over: “ When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from the wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7: 13-14.
Whether a person knows it or not, we were all born into a spiritual war zone. It’s an unseen battleground (2 Corinthians 4:18; Ephesians 6:12.) It’s an ongoing spiritual battle between good and evil.
But it’s taking place even if you and I don’t see it or don’t want to know about it.
And whether a person believes in the Bible or not, those timeless Truths of Scripture affect nations as well as individuals.
For example, Psalm 33, verse 12 tells us: “ Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.” Similarly, Psalm 127, verse 1, says: “ Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” Romans 13: 1 states: “ Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.” And Proverbs 21: 1-2 could not be more clear: “ The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the hearts.”
Jesus/Yeshua, Himself, in John 15 says: “ I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
That last quote applies to nations as well as individuals.
So, assuming we want to use our Best Weapon, the very first step in using our Best Weapon is to repent for how we each have dishonored Him. Have we had other gods before Him, individually and as a nation? Have we loved the Lord our God with all our heart, all our soul, and with all of our mind, and have we loved our neighbor as ourselves?
As He forgives us---which He will--- we can then begin to walk towards Him, towards purity, to honor the Living God and His Sovereignty over nations and leaders. He is the Source of Divine Wisdom needed desperately today, personally and in nations. Those called as public servants need His Wisdom in all matters. To obtain it, such a person will have to turn to our Abba Father and to His Son, the Messiah, Yeshua/ Jesus Christ and receive the Holy Spirit, asking for His Divine Wisdom. The Holy Spirit can then positively guide our lives and our nations.
If we don’t honor the Living God we can’t be surprised when His judgment falls on His creation. Needless suffering and judgment must surely follow our rebellion if we continue to build man-made towers of babel, proud of our own strength, not needing Him.
Until the Living God is honored He will continue to speak to His creation, the several billions of us humans. He will speak, using, in His mercy, not only His Goodness which can lead a person to repentance, but also His tribulation and troubles. The storms, catastrophes, and debacles are allowed by Him to seek to awaken us from our worldly mindset that tragically leaves Him out. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 14:12, Proverbs 16:25.
Using our own limited thinking we can’t solve global problems let alone backyard squabbles. But with the Living God nothing is impossible; His thinking is far higher than ours. It’s His will for everyone to be saved and experience an abundant life now and in eternity with Him, experiencing His Liberty. He stands ready at all times to bless us individually and each nation honoring Him.
The founders of this nation honored Him. Will you and I now honor Him?
