Happy October! It seems that more people than ever are getting into the Halloween spirit and there are events happening all month, including some immersive events north of the city. Check out the link below for October events to watch out for.

I hate to repeat myself, but when it comes to the city's real estate market, we are seeing more of the same: fewer listings (which naturally results in fewer sales) and higher prices. Condos are again leading the pack with sales up 16% over September 2020. Keep in mind that September of last year was a bit slower due to the pandemic. The number of listings were high and suites weren't selling as quickly as sellers had hoped. So, saying sales are up 16% year over year just means things have normalized a bit.

Currently, I have SIX active listings to show you this month, four of which have come to market over the past few days. Scroll down to view them all! Included is an authentic loft at the Candy Factory, a two-level townhome on Manning Ave, a well-priced one bedroom plus den at DNA2, a super-spacious corner suite in Liberty Village, a gorgeous one bedroom plus den at Earl Lofts and a bright one bedroom right at Yonge and Wellesley!

As always, I thank you for your past and future business...and any referrals of friends or family you may have are greatly appreciated!

The Best BBQ in Toronto
Whether you’re craving a saucy rack of ribs, smoked chicken that’s been slow cooking for hours or perfectly charred sausages, Toronto is home to many mouth-watering BBQ joints that specialize in bringing these fresh-off-the-grill flavours straight to your plate.
Investment Properties: Finding a Good Tenant
In my last blog, I talked about what you should look for when it comes to location and the type of property to purchase, but it’s also important to have a solid tenant. During the pandemic, it’s more important than ever to do your due diligence as there’s a no eviction order in place until at least the end of December 2021. The good news is that there are tools available for you to vet a tenant – even more so if you work with a realtor.
Design Through the Decades: Living Rooms
It’s not surprising that the living room is open to a wide swath of design interpretations. Over the decades though, certain trends come to the fore, so despite the person-to-person variations that inevitably occur, there are recognizable patterns tracking the cultural evolution of the home’s common space.

Toronto Real Estate Board Market News
September marked the transition from the slower summer market to the busier fall market in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Every year, we generally see an uptick in sales, average selling price and listings after Labour Day, and September 2021 was no different. Sales increased relative to August and were also at the third-highest mark on record for the month of September. The average selling price was up both month-over-month and year-over-year.
