I love groovy indie bookstores and decided to do a round-up for you! Below is a list that includes stores I know and love, and some I found online that looked interesting. Now you can head to your neighborhood word den to pick up tomes for yourself or others. Be sure to say howdy to the owner(s) when you stop by.

A couple of things to note: the last Saturday in April is Independent Bookstore Day, and Blue Willow Bookshop has created an annual Houston Bookstore Crawl to be enjoyed throughout April. It's a great way to challenge yourself to read on and on...
