As a coach and, I suspect, in all jobs (certainly for the judges, the prophets and even the disciples), there are days when you wonder why you are doing it.
This year I committed to a little prayer before stepping on the pool deck each day.
"Remind me, God, that I work for you and open my heart to see the job you wish me to do."
His response was amazing.
