Introducing the Garlic Butter Bird...
Now that's a good-looking Turkey!
Absolutely Delicious...

Ingredients:

2 16 oz. Brownberry Onion and Sage Stuffing Mix
8 Sticks of Butter
3 Whole Garlic Knobs or 24-30 Cloves - The more garlic the Better!

Directions:

  1. Make your stuffing following directions on packaging
  2. Stuff it including neck area and stretch skin along side of bird above wings and stuff between skin and bird
  3. Soften 6 sticks of butter (DO NOT Melt Butter)
  4. Place garlic through garlic press
  5. Mix the garlic and butter until butter is smooth and coat bird as seen above
  6. Add cup of water to bottom of the pan
  7. Place in preheated oven 325 degrees 10 minutes
  8. Baste bird with garlic butter juice gently - some over the stuffing
  9. Baste over and over every 15-20 minutes until done

KEY THING IS TO BASTE GENTLY
The little bits of garlic stick and caramelize to the skin of the bird making it golden brown and beautiful! If you squeeze the baster too hard, you will knock the garlic off the bird!
Cooking Time for Stuffed Turkey
A stuffed turkey will take longer to cook than an unstuffed turkey. Stuffed turkeys need to be cooked until the turkey and the stuffing both reach 165F. Refer to the timetable below for approximate cook time by turkey’s weight.
PS - I bine my bird overnight.
