THIRTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
27 June 2021

"Do not be afraid; just have faith."
Mk 5:36b
Thank you Deacon Mike for your service of love and dedication to our Holy Faith Church community.

Deacon Michael Demers served us well for 10 years now and will be taking some time for rest and reflection beginning June 30th. We wish him the best in his new endeavors, and we will continue to pray for him.

Please show your love and support to Deacon Mike when you see him, and keep him in your prayers, as he journeys forward in his discernment. We hope to see him around occasionally sharing his wonderful smile and sense of humor with all.

We also say good-bye to Fr. Philip George, who served us faithfully for several months, for which we are also grateful for his dedication to our family of Holy Faith. Fr. Philip has been assigned to Queen of Peace Parish as of July 1st. We wish him the best in his new endeavor. Please give him your best wishes when you see him this weekend and keep him in your prayers as well.

Thank you Fr. Philip and God Bless!

As we prepare to gather for Mass physically or virtually, reading the Sunday Scripture readings in advance will help prepare us in mind and heart to fully participate in the Mass.

3rd SUNDAY FOOD DRIVE UPDATE
Once again, thank you to our June Volunteers: Lisa A, Sonia F. and family, Liz G. and family, David F. and family, and Laurice B. They faithfully faced the challenges of the weather, giving of their time and compassion for the hungry.
Bless you, and thank you also to the others who have volunteered to join in this ministry work. Keep in mind, the more volunteers we get, others will have a chance to feel the rewards of service through the Church. We will send out a confirmation for the July Food Drive dates of July 17-18 to those who have signed up for specific time slots and lets others know where we will still need assistance. Thank you also to the parishioners who donated so generously.
"For I was Hungry and You gave me something to eat."
Matthew 25:

We could still use more volunteers. Sign up yourself or your family to assist on the 3rd Saturday evening of a month from 4:45pm to 6:00pm, or on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 9:15am to 10:30am or 11:00am to 12:30pm. We need at least one family or two individuals to cover the time slots.

CONSIDER THIS YOUR FAMILY SERVICE TO THE HUNGRY and join us in our vision to "Build together a Community of Compassion in Christ." God blesses those who bless others! Sign-up below.

Religious Freedom Week 2021: Solidarity in Freedom
June 22-29

“Solidarity means much more than engaging in sporadic acts of generosity. It means thinking and acting in terms of community” (Fratelli tutti, 116).
Religious freedom allows the Church, and all religious communities, to live out their faith in public and to serve the good of all. Beginning June 22, the feast of Sts. Thomas More and John Fisher, the USCCB invites Catholics to pray, reflect, and act to promote religious freedom.
