Corinthia London
A Suite Stay
Corinthia London is instantly recognizable as a hotel synonymous with luxury. We know many of you book this 21st century grand five-star with us and may even guess our first Secret; for every reservation we make here, almost 100% of the time we receive proactive feedback from travel advisors about how their clients enjoyed the trip. That is really saying something, taking into consideration the expectations for a hotel that starts at $1,500 in high season.
We fell in love with Corinthia London on opening in 2011, and we fall in love with it more every year because of their re-invention, investment and the new Secrets we get to share with you. Located in London's center, just two blocks south of Trafalgar Square, Corinthia is a prime base for exploring the city. Always on the look-out for fun experiences for families, the hotel also features a fleet of electric Brompton bikes and with their stellar location Frank Laino, our Director of Concierge Services, loves supporting with theatre tickets to sell-out shows nearby.
With rooms starting at 450 square feet, they offer incredible solutions that travel advisors often forget about. Many rooms feature two queen beds, there are dozens of inter-connecting options, and 1-bedroom suites that can easily add two or three bedrooms. Our most booked suites are their seven uniquely designed penthouses - many featuring large terraces that take in the spectacular cityscape. Portrait Milano is found within a jaw-dropping 16th century building in the most sought-after shopping district in the world, just steps from The Duomo and iconic La Scala. Dromoland Castle
How can it keep getting better?
In addition to being one of our most booked hotels in Ireland, Dromoland Castle is consistently in our Top 10 when it comes to guest feedback! So how is Dromoland Castle better than ever? We are excited to showcase all of their updates and investments recently made...
The biggest news is brand-new Dromoland Lodge. Our team was honored to cut the ribbon at the grand opening with Managing Director, Mark Nolan (see picture, below). This stunning private home on the estate won’t stay a Secret for long! Dromoland Lodge is an incredible solution for groups of friends or multi-gen families that features 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, and sensational living space, tucked away on the spectacular 500-acre estate. Guests at this luxury lodge have full access to the amenities at Dromoland Castle too.
They have also reimagined the Brian Boru Suite, their best suite on property. Named after Ireland’s only High King, whose ancestors built Dromoland Castle, it features a four-poster bed, chandeliers, and a large dressing room. Additionally, they continue to listen to guest feedback, and are one of the first hotels in Ireland to introduce inter-connecting suite options within a historic property. We are so excited that they can now accommodate 2 or 3 bedrooms, accessed as a private wing - perfect for families!
Our average length of stay here has grown beyond 3 nights, and more Celebrated Guests are taking time to enjoy the recently refurbished Castle Spa, featuring Dr. Barbara Sturm skincare and the only Amber & Quartz Crystal bed in Ireland. Guests love exploring the estate, on foot or on complimentary bicycles, revealing hidden Secrets; from foxes, deer and pheasants to a hermit’s grotto, beautiful walled garden, and Dromoland Lough. Dromoland Castle also has one of the most extensive activity programs in Ireland, featuring falconry, golf, fishing, clay shooting, horse riding, paddle-boarding, and archery.
Our Celebrated Inspection team loved the updated Fig Tree restaurant, frequented by locals and serving big-flavored crowd-pleasers. Dromoland Castle’s flagship restaurant, the Earl of Thomond, offers an authentic taste of Ireland surrounded by Venetian silk, sparkling chandeliers, and sweeping views of the estate.
The Dromoland service is legendary. We love the Little VIP amenities, from junior bathrobes and slippers to specially tailored menus, board games and children’s movies - Celebrated Guests of every age always feel special here and remember so many names of the team long after their visit! As a reminder, Dromoland Castle is located on the west coast of Ireland, only 15 minutes from Shannon International Airport, it is a great base for exploring The Cliffs of Moher, Burren National Park, and the Wild Atlantic Way. Fun and energetic Galway is less than an hour away.
