Teacher of the Month – Emalee Fuentes, Lakeview Middle School
Emalee Fuentes, the Art Teacher at Lakeview Middle School, graduated from Lewisville High School in 2006 and is thrilled to be back in LISD as an educator. Her passion lies in art education, where she strives to offer a creative outlet for her students. Beyond the classroom, Emalee dedicates most of her spare time to her (almost) 2-year-old son, Oliver.
Student of the Month – Abigail Bryant, Lakeview Middle School
Lakeview Middle School sixth-grader Abigail Bryant, serving as the Student Council President and a member of the Principal’s Advisory Council, is making waves in her first year at Lakeview. Despite her brief time at the school, she has become a standout leader, described by Principal Matthew Morris as a shining example of an exemplary student. Abigail's enthusiasm for improving Lakeview is evident in every action she takes. Her impact on the Leopard community is already significant, and her involvement in UIL Academics, specifically the Impromptu Speaking Award Category, adds another dimension to her achievements this school year.
