Author Luncheon 6/18 w / Meghan MacLean Weir
June 18 at Sea Dog Brewing Co.
Join us for a luncheon and author talk with  Meghan MacLean Weir, author of " The Book of Essie ," at Sea Dog Brewing Co. in North Conway at noon on Monday, June 18th.

Tickets are $20, which includes luncheon, author talk and donation to the Library.

Tickets need to be purchased ahead of time, either through White Birch Books (603-356-3200) or at the North Conway Library, by June 16.

Meghan MacLean Weir is a young physician from the Boston area and her debut novel is described by Chris Bohjalian, one of this library's favorite authors, as follows, “Every once in a while, a novel comes along that is both timelessly beautiful and unbelievably timely.  The Book of Essie  is such a story. Meghan MacLean Weir has given us a young heroine who is at once authentic and courageous — and a tale that is wonderful and mysterious and relentlessly surprising.”

We would love to get your GENTLY used books, CDs, and DVDs as soon as possible so that we can get them ready for the big sale in July.

Please drop off ONLY when the library is OPEN; do not leave donations in front of the locked doors...
