Savannah placed 5th in the speech division at the Beta Club Convention in Savannah last week. As such, she qualified for the National Convention this summer! Others attending the convention include: Hannah Crowell, Cassidy Jones, and Callie Pendergrass.

Monday - DCHS Young Authors Meeting at 1p, DMS PTO Meeting at 4p
Everyone needs encouragement. Some people may need more than others, but everyone needs some now and then. Anna Ballard, DMS

Tuesday - Lincoln's Birthday, CHAMPS, DCHS Baseball vs. Gordon Lee at 5p, STEM Night at DES at 5p
When I'm having a bad day, my friends encourage me to keep going. When I think about it, don’t they deserve my encouragement too? Makaela Chance, DMS

Wednesday - DES on KWN's "Reading, Writing a n d Arithmetic" at 1:00 p.m.,
I was encouraged by friends to audition for a play. I figured that I wouldn’t make it, but I did. Now I’m glad I got the push needed to do something I enjoy. Arianna Clayton, DMS

Thursday - CHAMPS, Project Christopher at 2p at DMS, Baseball vs. Lafayette at 5p
