Recently, as I was driving up to Atlanta, heading back to the Panhandle, and then back home (a journey of 1084 miles in one week), I realized I needed something to occupy my mind whilst (love that word) in the car. And, “What, you say was that?” Well, I’m a push-over for Broadway so I brought Les Miserable, the Dixie Chicks, Joan Baez, and Pavarotti with me. Now, I don’t do audiobooks as I find myself picturing the audio descriptions rather than the road! But, I can get lost in the music. My favorites after so many years. That’s also what I thought (and felt) sitting in Temple this past Shabbat. A good and comfortable and comforting place to be.
