Dear Beth El Members,
Due to the current situation with the Delta variant, please be assured that the leadership of Beth El is closely monitoring and seeking advice from medical professionals. The Beth El Health and Safety Committee will make recommendations as to the safest way to hold Shabbat and High Holiday services. The safety of all our congregants and staff is our top priority. We want to assure our members that we continue to closely monitor the situation, and will communicate should the need for our current COVID protocols be modified.
While the Health & Safety Committee is focused on what is in the best health and safety interests of the congregation, we must also rely on each person to follow all guidelines and make decisions that limit the risks to themselves, their families, and others.
The Health & Safety Committee is committed to keeping you informed, answering your questions as they arise and listening to your comments and feedback. Please email Elissa at elissa@bethbeaches.org should you have questions.
Respectively,
The Beth El Executive Board

Every time…
I walk to the mailbox to pick my non-existent mail (texts and emails aplenty have taken over for the trusted mail delivery…which now comes @4:00…makes no sense with lower volume) but I have digressed. To get back to the point, my neighbor always stops me and asks how I’m doing. She’s so nice but obviously worried as I walk out with another medical device attached to my foot or hand or both. It depends on the ailment I know. The right foot can have an indistinguishable little black number, replaced with a lace-up job which I really can’t hide. The hand (right, of course…alas, I’m useless with my left) can have a small black, unobtrusive splint which has been replaced by this lovely, blue, massive job extending from finger tips to half way up my forearm. So, if you see me at services with one or both devices, know for sure, I’m fine, just a klutz.

This is a lovely contemplative hands-on way to begin the High Holiday season. All supplies provided. Please rsvp your interest to Paula Klausner, 904-543-2402 or poopsiek@gmail.com
