After all the
“tions”……desperation, aggravation, and frustration, I took scissors to hair! Bear in mind, I have baby fine, straight, limp hair. Bear in mind I have no clue on how to cut hair (as is evident). They say that if you color your hair, you create more body. So, staying as true as possible to my original hair color, I have tried them all. They don’t work, so I cut my hair. I still have to curl my hair every morning with the curling iron that has become my mortal enemy. How many times have I burned myself? Too often. Burn marks, scars, my trademark. What hasn’t been my trademark though is Yiddish. Going to the Yiddish “class” that the Rabbi hosts on Tuesdays…I felt like a stranger in a foreign land. Well, that was the first gathering. The second, today, I found my footing! I even knew some of the meanings. Not like everyone else, but I’m getting there. I hope you join us next week. See you there.
