Our deepest condolences to Gail Greenfield on the passing of her brother in law, Dr. Mickey M. Greenfield. May his memory always be a blessing.
Staying over in Gainesville tonight. Did you know that, so far, from the juncture of Routes 10 & 301, traveling south on 301, there are 8 speed limit changes on the way to Gainesville. No wait…there are 15. And we’re only halfway there. I thought the speed traps were in and around Starke and Waldo but nooooo the entirety of 301 IS A SPEED TRAP. Just think 30 change speed limit signs. You think you’re free when you turn on to Route 24. But noooo. Another 11 speed limit changes drives you nuts. I am spending the night in Gainesville to rest this overtaxed brain and get blood flowing back to my lead foot. Why can’t the FDOT work like Beth El? Dependability, Consistency, Community. There you have it. That’s Beth El.
