We are most appreciative of the members of our community who have thus far contributed to our Jewish Community Pandemic Emergency Relief Fund and to those who have generously supported the First Coast Relief Fund.

Our Jewish community campaign has raised $94,882 to date.

Individuals and families in the community are suffering and in need of financial assistance. Our Jewish family of organizations, our agencies, synagogues and schools are suffering financial losses with the loss of membership and other fees generated by services not occurring.

We need the support and participation of every member of the community.

Our initial goal is to reach $100,000.  We know this will not be sufficient as we work together to revitalize Jewish life here in Northeast Florida, to sustain our individual and organizational Jewish community.
If you or anyone you know is in need of assistance as a result of this crisis, please call Jewish Family and Community Services (JFCS) at 904-394-5722 .
We encourage you to make a gift to our Jewish Community Pandemic Emergency Relief Fund.

BETH EL BROTHERHOOD
BETH EL SISTERHOOD
Are your days of this pandemic stretching long in front of you? How about something new! Stretching, strengthening, and fun! Our own many-talented Nancy Rubenstein invites us to a new virtual Zoom beginner Pilates class , to be held Monday and/or Wed about noon, for Beth El and Sisterhood members.

Nancy is certified to teach chair pilates, yoga and cardio classes, and teaches at the YMCA and at Starling.  She is volunteering her time and expertise to us.  She would appreciate your making a small donation (perhaps $5 per class) to Beth El.

What you need:
a mat, light weights (1 or 2 lbs, or 2 cans of beans) and an exercise band.

PleaseEmail Nancy of your interest,  nrpilates@aol.com , ask any questions, and tell her which day(s) and time you prefer.

Need that special way to remember a person or occasion? Purchase a BRICK that will become a part of the path leading into Beth El The Beaches Synagogue. The next time you are walking into Beth El, please take a moment to look down and take notice of the BRICKS leading to the front entry. These are abiding remembrances that warm your heart each time you enter Beth El.

You can still take advantage of this year’s Brick Sale. For only $100, you can purchase 2 bricks. The bricks become a permanent part of our synagogue. Our lively chair Paula Klausner will be delighted to help you.

COMMUNITY EVENTS
If you can, help support a local restaurant: Trasca Eatery & Co.

We are committed to keep our doors open, keep our team working and serve our community, but we need your help by sharing and helping us communicate to all:
  • Hours Monday thru Saturday 11 am to 7pm on Sunday online orders only. This could change soon and we will be offering more normal hours.
  • Offering To Go orders, Curbside Pick UP and Delivery to 32082

It is sad to see all our hard work throughout the year end like this, but as Community Partners I know we can get thru this.

Thanks in advance for all your kindness and help!

Best,
Karina Coryell
