Not A Great Way To Spend An Afternoon
Volunteering seems to be my thing! But, spending an additional 4 hours in the parking lot of Baptist Beaches Hospital is not! Let me explain...got to my car after my shift in the downpour Tuesday afternoon, I fully expected to be on my way to get my Starbucks....but no....."clunk"....my car wouldn't start. When the jumper cables did not produce the desired result, it was an additional 3 hours later when the tow truck came and towed my car away to the dealer. Tough day, but all was not lost....I asked the tow truck driver who dropped me at home if he wanted to join Beth El, but, alas, he was otherwise committed. Point....Don't forget to ask!
