Oneg Sponsors Needed
Sponsoring a Friday night Oneg is a beautiful way to connect with fellow congregants after services. It is also a wonderful way to honor someone's memory on their yahrzeit, celebrate an anniversary or birthday, thank someone special, or for any other reason that has meaning to you. No planning experience is required!

Jessica Bodkin Bat Mitzvah | |
|
Hi, my name is Jessica Bodkin. I will become a Bat Mitzvah on January 14, 2023. My parents, David and Amy, and my brother Austin are all looking forward to it very much!
Currently, I am a 9th grade homeschool student. My favorite subject is Literature. In my spare time I enjoy drawing, reading, singing, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with my friends.
For my tzedakah project I am collecting Color Wonder Stow & Go Studios to donate to the Ronald MacDonald House. Art has always been a way that I express myself. And I think giving children who are going through difficult life circumstances the opportunity for self-expression is a noble goal.
It’s hard to believe after many years in the School for Jewish Living and studying Hebrew that my Bat Mitzvah is finally here. I want to thank all my teachers who have helped me to prepare for this event in my life. I am thankful for their patience and encouragement. I’m excited to be a Bat Mitzvah. I hope you all will join me on this important day and for the Kiddush luncheon afterwards. Childcare will be provided during the service as I remember how hard it was for me to sit still for very long when I was young.
