JUST Conversation

in the Sukkah

Tuesday, October 22

Join members of the Social Justice Team for an important conversation about what issues matter to you most and how we can work to make Northwest Florida better for all who call this area home.

We will meet in the Sukkah at 5:30 pm for a light dinner and conversation. For more information or to RSVP please contact Rabbi Joel.

Please see below for the letter our congregation received from the State Attorney’s Office related to the upcoming sentencing hearings for those who were charged with crimes against Temple Beth El.

The prosecutors are requesting Victim Impact Statements so the Court can appreciate how the crimes impacted our Jewish community. The request is related to impact upon us, not for sentencing recommendations - as sentencing is left to the prosecutors and defense attorneys and, ultimately, the Court.

If you are so inclined, please feel free to submit a letter regarding how the charged crimes against our congregation impacted you.

A Message from the Cemetery Committee

While it can be difficult to think about the end of our lives, it is an act of kindness to our loved ones to preplan our final arrangements. The Temple Beth El Cemetery offers the pre-purchase of Perpetual Care Agreements to Temple members for $3,000.

For more information, please contact Ray Engel at 850-516-3495.
