A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Cemetery Cleanup Volunteers
On Sunday March 22, an incredible group of 22 volunteers came together to restore and honor the sacred resting place of over 74 members of our Temple Beth El family. Giving more than two hours of their time, these dedicated individuals cleaned years of accumulated dirt, mold, and mildew, and in doing so gave those who rest there the dignity and respect they deserve.
This was one of the largest cemetery cleanup efforts in our congregation's history, both in the number of volunteers and the number of graves cared for. As our tradition reminds us, caring for those who have passed is among the greatest of mitzvot, and this group embodied that teaching beautifully.
On behalf of all of Temple Beth El, a warm and heartfelt thank you to each and every volunteer who participated. Your generosity, dedication, and spirit of community are truly an inspiration. We look forward to continuing this meaningful work together.
With deep gratitude,
Ray & Terry

If you know of anyone in our congregation who could benefit from these services, or if you would like to join this meaningful committee, please contact Rabbi Joel, Kym Lewis or Elaine Storms.
