Tony Green grew up the youngest of five siblings in small town Arkansas. Their childhood was fractured by abuse and neglect; each child pursuing a different path entering adulthood. The one sibling who first heeded God's call was Beth Moore. Tony shares how proud he is of his sister's ministry, yet believes the enemy had "aggressively sifted this family to snuff out any chance that another spark might ignite a fire for God." That plan was foiled!
Today, Tony says, "God revealed to me about being Beth Moore's brother, 'It is not your best pedigree!'" Tony proclaims his greatest bloodline is Jesus Christ. Even though Tony had been a Christ-follower for 14 years, he said he has only been surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ this last year.
Tony coins what has happened to him as, 'Triumphant Surrender'. "Those first twelve years as a believer, I can't remember ever feeling the presence of God - not one single moment. Yet, this last year, surrendered to the Holy Spirit's power, it's been like a Holy Spirit fireworks show! I now believe I am who God says I am!" Tony shares his dramatic story on Water through the Word RADIO.
Tony lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, and has two children; Chris, 22, and Carleigh,10. Tony feels called to help struggling believers understand that their greatest triumph will come from their deepest surrender

"I ain't got no wife. I ain't got no job. I ain't got no money, yet I have never been so filled with Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control. Even though the external circumstances of my life continue to batter me like a violent storm, I enjoy God's peace, through Christ, which surpasses all understanding. According to the world's standards, I had a very successful 30-year career for corporate America, but my life was dramatically changed. 2012 turned out to be the worst year of my life ... and the best year of my life. I'm not sure where I'll be as 2013 gives way to the New Year, but I won't be back in bondage! Isaiah's response rings daily in my ears, "Here am I, Lord. Send me."
