Dear friends of BBC,
Our busy summer is now winding down and we are preparing for the return of our students in one week. We thank God for a fruitful summer! Thanks to all who prayed for our outreaches, which included a leadership training course for local emerging leaders; our first-ever English summer camp that was directed to both Christian and Muslim children; and an English intensive course that was led by a great group of volunteer ESL teachers from the United States. These programs were all very successful and we continue to hear good feedback from the community. Additionally, a team of students and leaders from BBC recently returned from Jordan earlier this month, where they were able to minister to Iraqi and Syrian refugees. This month’s newsletter contains a few articles and videos giving more detail on these events. I think you will enjoy them.
In upcoming news, we are very excited for the launch of our e-learning program in early September. We have already had 44 applicants who’ve registered; Arabs in the Middle East, Europe and North America. We look forward to the ways this program will advance the gospel and kingdom of Jesus Christ in these lands.
This issue also includes a special testimony from one of our friends; wife of martyr Rami Ayyad who was murdered in Gaza 9 years ago. Please keep the Christians in Gaza and throughout the Arab world in your prayers.
