Greetings!

Hello from Bethlehem!

As summer comes to a close, we want to share with you what's been transpiring the past month!

Many students in our community have completed a three-week English course taught by a team of internationals from North America. Check out our video that shows off their English skills! One of our past English teachers is also featured in our Meet One of Us section. We are thankful for those that return to continue serving our community.

Summertime is always full of fun and celebration, so we’ve compiled a list of the upcoming festivals that will be going on around Palestine this summer and into the fall. Perhaps you’ll consider coming to attend a few on your next visit to Palestine!

The International Leadership Institute Conference also took place, and you'll want to read more about it in our News Highlight section. We are blessed to be able to engage in these types of conferences with others from around Palestine.

Thank you again for your continued support and encouragement! We are pleased to continue on this journey of Kingdom building with you!

Blessings,

Rev. Dr. Jack Sara
President
Bethlehem Bible College

Bethlehem Bible College, in cooperation with ILI (International Leadership Institute), organized a leadership conference entitled “HistoryMakers.” The conference was held in the Bethlehem Bible College building, in the presence of a number of influential church leaders from the region. Dr. Yousef Sarkis of Kasr El Dobara Church in Egypt, Rev. Jack Sara, president of Bethlehem Bible College, and Mrs. Madeline Sara, Christian counselor, all spoke at the conference.

Bustling cities and dusty dirt roads. Rolling hills and empty desert vistas. Blue skies and distant views. Ancient history and contemporary urban life. The call to prayer by the muezzin and the ringing of the church bells. Children playing on the sidewalks and elderly men walking by in their kufiyah and RayBans. Variety. This is the paradox that encompasses just some of what is available to you when you visit Palestine!

People love Bethlehem, Palestine, and Bethlehem Bible College in particular. They come from all over the world during the year to visit, to volunteer, and to teach at our campus. Their lives are changed, their perspective on the situation is changed as well, through living and communicating with the native Palestinian people, and observing their daily life.
