"Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness"
(Psalm 37:3)

Dear friends,

After a very hot October (in more ways than one), the cool autumn rains are beginning to fall in Palestine and Israel. We rejoice in them and pray that November will bring a quiet rest to the heated emotions of the past many weeks. We appreciate the many expressions of love and concern from our friends around the world, as Bethlehem Bible College once again finds itself near the center of the clashes in Bethlehem. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to move forward with our commission from God: to make disciples of Jesus Christ and to impact this part of the world with His glorious gospel.

In this issue you will read about our dynamic campus chaplain, Michael Arteen, and his vision for this part of the world, as well as some local ministries here in Bethlehem whose items are carried in BBC's gift shop. We recently sent out our Christmas 2015 catalogue, the proceeds of which help to support the local economy of Palestine.

Despite the situation, please know that Bethlehem is still a very safe place.  Tourists are still coming and going. Our volunteers who live on campus are secure.  If you are considering a trip to this area, please feel free to come and visit us! We would love to meet you and help to host an informative and exciting time for you in the West Bank .

Rev. Dr. Jack Sara - President

BBC is currently highlighting a series of local ministries who work with the developmentally disabled in this region.  We are helping to support these ministries by carrying their hand-made products in our gift shop, some of which we are especially highlighting for this Christmas season.

Bethlehem Bible College had the honor to receive members of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and students from different colleges and universities across the West Bank to conduct the annual exam that gives aspiring tour guides their license.

"From Out of Egypt
I called  My Son"

From the furnace of Egypt is emerging a church that is burning with love and passion and zeal for the Lord.  Out of a time of great distress and persecution, a spark has caught flame in that nation that is spreading across the Arab world.  We at Bethlehem Bible College are thrilled that one of Egypt's "burning embers" has joined us on staff.  This month, we are honored to introduce Michael Arteen, who is serving our students as the Campus Chaplain.

We Palestinians wake up every day to learn and to teach life to one another and to the rest of the world. We try not to worry about financial sources because we know that God provides. We dream-not only for ourselves but for others; for the poor, children and disabled people. We search for those who are in need so that we may help them and we watch how God provides. Would you like to meet a local Bethlehem ministry doing a great work for "the least of these"?
