Bethlehem University Foundation Joins Bethlehem University in Mourning Brother Anton de Roeper, FSC
It is with sorrow that the Foundation mourns the passing of Brother Anton de Roeper, FSC, former Vice Chancellor (President) of Bethlehem University. He passed away peacefully on May 18th, just a few days away from his 85th birthday.

Brother Anton served as a lecturer at Bethlehem University from 1977 until 1979 and returned to the University as its third Vice Chancellor from 1986 until 1993. Soon after this ministry, he was appointed as the Secretary of Education for the De La Salle Institute in Rome. Among other places, he also ministered in England and South Sudan.

The Foundation joins his relatives, Bethlehem University, the De La Salle Christian Brothers, and all those who were touched by his life, in mourning his passing and in celebrating his life.

May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
