Bethlehem University Holds 43rd Commencement Ceremonies
|
|
On the 24th and 25th of June, Bethlehem University conferred degrees on 764 graduates at its 43rd Commencement Ceremonies.
Brother Peter Bray, FSC, Vice Chancellor (President) of Bethlehem University, addressed the graduating class, encouraging them to continue to pursue knowledge.

"You have come here to learn, and you will leave to serve: to serve your family and your homeland. Please do not think that this graduation is the end of learning. Learning takes place in many situations; in schools, in universities, but particularly in the way in which you engage with others. In a world that is changing so rapidly, it is so important for you as students to continue to learn."
Brother Peter also thanked the parents and families of the graduates,
"What we are trying to do here at Bethlehem University is to be older brothers and sisters to those entrusted to us. We are trying to create an environment, develop an atmosphere, and provide opportunities for your children to gain the knowledge, acquire the skills, and develop the virtues and attitudes that will enable them to live life as fully as they can."

The Most Reverend Leopoldo Girelli, Apostolic Delegate to Jerusalem and Palestine and Chancellor of Bethlehem University, and Brother Peter Bray, FSC, Vice Chancellor, conferred the degrees and diplomas to the graduates of the Institute for Hotel Management and Tourism, and the Faculties (Schools) of Arts, Business Administration, Education, Nursing and Health Sciences, and Science.

"Be bold, be courageous, be inventive and creative in living your life as fully as you can."
