The Next Stop's 8th annual family and friends lasagna dinner was held Friday evening, October 26th. The members prepared for it for weeks making 30 pans of lasagna as well as a variety of desserts--all to serve our 300 guests. They also made marbleized paper for the centerpieces and put them all together. They spent lots of time rehearsing a musical tribute to our theme. Members were truly excited and proud to host this night!
This year's theme "Better Together" was representative of what The Next Stop is all about. We are a community. Within our community, members come together to form something bigger than themselves--a union that is strong and capable. It is a place of belonging where being ourselves is accepted and valued. Encouraged by one another, our members experience the joy of putting forth the effort and attaining the successes. We are just better together!
This concept was demonstrated through the songs performed by our members. The finale was a wonderful display of being better together as a our members led a '"Love Train" that everyone hopped onto!
What a fun watch!!
