November 2019 Newsletter -
Issue #60
|
 Hi everyone,
Having just attended ILADS 2019 in Boston, I returned with more of a sense of hope than ever before.
There is more focus on research around Lyme disease now than I have seen in the past, and new and exciting options for improving the quality of our lives are emerging.
I'm also continuing to love learning from guests on the
podcast, and have several more exciting shows ahead.
Thanks for your ongoing interest and support!

LymeLight Foundation's Season Of Giving!
|
I am honored to have been part of the
LymeLight Foundation team since 2013 and to have been involved in their work since 2011.
Our mission is to provide grants to enable eligible children and young adults with Lyme disease to receive proper treatment and medication as well as raising awareness about Lyme disease.
To date, LymeLight has provided grants to 770 recipients in 49 states totaling over $5 million dollars!
This work would not be possible without the support of generous donors like yourself. 100% of all donations received goes directly to funding treatment for young people with Lyme disease.
This year, LymeLight is
BEYOND GRATEFUL to have a $10K matching donation from our friends at
Sophia Health Institute and
Sophia Nutrition. This means that every dollar that you donate will be
DOUBLED!
Thank you in advance for your support! It does make a difference!

ILADS 2019: Chronic Disease = Chronic Infections?
|
I had the opportunity to attend the ILADS 2019 annual event "Chronic Disease = Chronic Infections?" held in Boston on October 31 - November 3, 2019.
This was my 14th! ILADS annual event since I first started attending in 2006.
My overall sense was a feeling of renewed hope, of forward progress, and of emerging solutions; more this year than any year past.
Don't miss some of my notes from talks by Susan McCamish CTN, Eboni Cornish MD, Tania Dempsey MD, Theo Theoharides PhD MD, Kenneth Liegner MD, Robert Mozayeni MD, and Thalia Farshchian ND on topics ranging from Disulfiram to MCAS to Morgellons to Bartonella, and more.
|
One of my current areas of interest is the importance of supporting the mitochondria in recovering and optimizing health.
The Mitochondrial Summit is just around the corner and brings together some of the best speakers on this important topic.
Speakers include: Todd Watts, Jay Davidson, Ari Whitten, Joe Mercola, Terry Wahls, William Pawluk, Wendy Myers, Dan Nuzum, and more.
