June outage report

NCE experienced 13 outages in June. The longest outage lasted an hour and 41 minutes due to an issue with AEP transmission to the Carey substation. NCE crews were able to reroute power from another substation to restore service to members.

A number of factors can affect how long your power is out during an outage, including extent of the damage, number of people out, and the spread of outages across our system.

The outage map on NCE's website is a great resource when looking for information on current power outages, including the number of members affected and the areas experiencing the highest amounts of power loss.

North Central Electric Cooperative will be closed on Sept. 2 for Labor Day.
