NCE hosts live line demonstration

Recently, our Manager of Safety and Compliance Mike Stahl and two of our linemen hosted a live line demonstration for the Chatfield Volunteer Fire Department. These demonstrations help provide education about electrical safety and how to navigate electrical hazards.

Live line demonstrations are available to organizations within NCE's service territory and provide valuable information to those that attend. If you're interested in hosting a live line demonstration for your organization, contact us at nce@fesco-oh.org or by calling 419-426-3072.

Cooperative Youth Day applications now open

Do you have a rising sophomore or junior who is interested in history, government, and the political world? We encourage them to apply for our Cooperative Youth Day on Thursday, October 23.

Students get the chance to tour the Ohio Statehouse and Ohio History Center, visit with state legislators, network with other students from across Ohio, and more! There is space available for up to 35 students, with preference given to children of current NCE members.

Cooperative Youth Day is a first step in NCE's youth engagement initiative, aimed at educating students about the cooperative business model. Those who attend Youth Day have the opportunity to learn more about Ohio's Electric Cooperatives' annual Youth Tour trip to Washington, D.C., as well.

Applications are available now through September 19.

NCE attends local fairs

Over the past month, NCE has attended three local fairs, including Crawford County, Seneca County, and Attica Independent. We have enjoyed getting to see our members, answer questions, and join in on the fair festivities!

Monthly survey reminder

In an effort to continually improve our member services and ensure we are doing everything we can to provide you with the safe, reliable, at-cost power you expect, NCE has begun launching a monthly online member satisfaction survey for our membership. We kindly ask that if you receive one of these surveys, you take five minutes to provide us with your feedback to help us grow.

How the survey works:

  • Click on the orange box in the email to take our short survey.
  • Your ANONYMOUS answers will be recorded and sent back to the cooperative, where they will be compiled with all other NCE survey responses.
  • This data will be used to improve processes and help us grow.
  • If you would like a follow-up, you will have an opportunity at the end of the survey to provide contact information. This is not required to complete the survey.

Please note: The survey will be dual-branded at the top with our sister cooperative, Lorain-Medina Rural Electric, but your responses will only be logged as experience with NCE.
