May 2021
Celebrate National Beef Month
May is National Beef Month! You can celebrate by enjoying a juicy cheeseburger or steak, or better yet, wrap up your school year by inviting an Agriculture in the Classroom teacher to present a standard-aligned, hands-on, 60-minute lesson to discuss how technology has affected the specialization of Nebraska's economy. Connect this virtual opportunity to fourth grade social studies standards to understand how beef farmers and ranchers utilize technology through an interactive Beef Jeopardy game! If you’re not a fourth grade teacher, check out our other lesson opportunities we have available to present to your classroom.
And the Winners Are...
