So Much To Do; So Little Time

Are you a geek? Do you drink? Do you have 8pm on Tuesday, July 26 free? If your answer to the previous questions is yes, we are happy to inform you that The Indo Pub has brought back Geeks Who Drink trivia night, for those among us who think clearest when under the influence.

The ancient art of henna is as beautiful as it is fun. Teens grades 6-12 can come to the library on Thursday, July 28th at 2pm to get a temporary henna tattoo and create other mystery crafts.

It's pizza o'clock somewhere-- and that place is TasteBuds Kitchen at 7pm, Friday, July 29. Learn the art of dough as you make your own gluten-free pizza. Bring your friends and go yeast mode!

On Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30 at 8pm, Orlando Baxter is standing up at Off Cabot. He's been all over the country and on TV, so here's your chance to hear his killer wit in person.

Live Music To Put In Your Ears

Beverly Library's Summer Sounds series continues, this week with an outdoor concert from Adrienne Howard and John Hicks. They'll be playing traditional tunes from Ireland, Quebec, France, and Appalachia from 6-7pm on Wednesday, July 27.

Easily Distracted is playing at the American Legion building on Saturday, July 30 at 8pm. Rock and roll all night with this great band!

Lisa Marie & All Shook Up are performing at Fibber McGee's on Satuday, July 30 at 9:30pm. Come grab a pint and get down to some New Orleans R&B, rock, and soul!

The MBTA is seeking to create a bus network based on better connections, service, and frequency, with a particular focus on equity and service for transit-dependent populations, and are seeking public comment on its proposed map.

You can also click here and here for more information specific to how the plan will change service to the North Shore and about the methods and goals of the Better Bus Project overall. They also have a great tool where you can put in your current route to see how it would change in the proposed plan.

The deadline for comment is July 31, 2022.
