A Program Worth Supporting: Thank You!
Thank you to the dozens of donors who supported our new outdoor holds pick up programs. It was a significant and important change for the Library to develop and implement this service, as it was for libraries across the globe. And since early May we have delivered thousands of items to patrons in the parking lot in west Sedona or at the door in the Village of Oak Creek. We made it safe for you, and you showed your appreciation with support and plenty of kudos. In summer's heat and even the few rain storms we had, in autumn's wind, and now winter's chill, we'll deliver your movies, music, and books to you. Thanks to everyone who uses this service especially when it's for neighbors and friends who aren't able to get out, and thanks for acknowledging our good work by investing in it. It's a wise investment!

Your Investment Makes More "Cents" than Ever!
We know that wise investments are a top priority for our donors. Did you know that in addition to our gift match, with this year's CARES Act, your cash gift of up to $300 may qualify for the new Temporary Universal Charitable Deduction? According to the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), "Taxpayers who do not itemize their deductions can take a one-time deduction of up to $300 for gifts made to charitable organizations." Investing in the Library just makes sense!

Your Investments Lead to Fresh Air at the Library
We are happy to announce that we have again improved safety at our buildings on White Bear Road. We have installed Aerus "air scrubbers"--the same as those used at the Mary Fisher theater--at both the Library and book store. These scrubbers substantially reduce contaminants, odors, dust, mold, and pollen, as well as microbial populations on surfaces. We can now rest assured that our visitors, and our volunteers, are breathing the cleanest, safest and freshest air while they are visiting or working in our buildings. Can't wait to see you and breathe the fresh air!
