Nancy Walsh is a busy woman even in retirement. She recently relocated to Sedona from California, no easy feat during Covid-19! She has already stepped up to help out in the community at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, and she serves as the Arizona State Director of the State Guard Association of the U.S. When not volunteering or unpacking, Nancy is an avid reader and library user. She has visited the Library since 1983 when her parents retired here. She appreciates the library and Storywalk in Sunset Park where she walks Maya (pictured at left). Nancy's love of libraries began early, and she volunteered at her elementary school library. Academics and athletics were priorities through college, and she played professional softball before her long career at Southern California Gas. Often having too little time to read, she discovered audio books for her long daily commute. Now she is using these quiet days to decide what's next. Whatever it is, we know we'll see her at the library. We welcome Nancy (and Maya) to the community as permanent residents. Thank you, Nancy, for years of support.
