Here's A Sample of How Your Support Makes a Difference!
Did You Know?
Did you know that Sedona Public Library volunteers provide 1400 service hours, on average, every month? We have more than 120 active volunteers at any given time who work their 3-4 hour shifts and perform a variety of tasks, all integral to the Library's daily operation. And while we find their service absolutely invaluable , did you know a standard dollar amount for each hour of volunteer service is determined every year for the U.S.? Currently, according to Independent Sector the value for one hour of volunteer service is $25.43.That's a $427,224 savings for your Library. We, literally, couldn't do it without our volunteers. Thank you!
