Featured Monthly Donor: Adria Estribou
Adria Wind Horse Estribou, our featured donor, is an author and a sound shaman who channels past lifetimes and universal sounds to shift stuck energies. She is also a medium and animal communicator. While Adria lives in Sedona, she works with clients from around the world. She gives to the Library through our recurring gift program, and events this year inspired her to do so. "When things shut down in March and April because of COVID, I acutely missed the Library . . . it is such a valuable community resource for me I realized that I should support it . . . it feels so wonderful to give back to the Library which brings me so much joy!" You can find Adria's newest book, Angel Insights for Unprecedented Times, in our local author section, and watch for Adria to do a reading at the Library in 2021. Thank you, Adria, for your support!

Consider Supporting the Library with the TUCD
Not itemizing on your 2020 tax returns? Then you may appreciate the Temporary Universal Charitable Deduction (TUCD). According to the Association of Fundraising Professions (AFP), "Taxpayers who do not itemize their deductions can take a one-time deduction of up to $300 for gifts made to charitable organizations. The provision is intended only for the year 2020; however, in the text of the bill, it states taxable years 'beginning in 2020 …' and does not include a sunset date, thus it conceivably could extend beyond 2020. The deduction is ONLY for gifts of cash made in calendar year 2020 and does not cover other types of gifts or contributions made to donor-advised funds or private foundations." Click the button to learn more, and remember, this year, your cash donation of up to $300 to Sedona Public Library may qualify for this new tax deduction. Thanks for thinking of us!

We Asked "What Are You Reading?"
And you told us! Thanks to all of you who shared titles and authors. How fun! You provided some wonderful reviews, too. We're so grateful to continue this conversation, the one we've so often had in the Library. But for now, it's a great item for our newsletter, and we're glad. Thanks again. Let's keep the conversation going. If you're inspired, please send Anne Marie a note about what you're reading. For now click on the button below to see the Library's very own "good reads"!
