Collette Melo is a B.C born and raised Nurse Practitioner who earned her Doctoral degree in Advanced Nursing Practice from University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2021. She is currently working at LNG Canada as their Health Coordinator, supporting the HR team with the enhancement of Corporate Health programming. Collette’s clinical background includes 20+ years of working in emergency departments, intensive care and remote, fly-in Indigenous communities. She has worked and trained as a volunteer firefighter in the small communities where she has lived and has assisted in establishing healthy living support groups. Most recently, Collette put her knowledge of preventative medicine to the test and became board certified in lifestyle medicine through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
