The Prince George Chamber of Commerce recently hosted the highly anticipated #TrueNorth2023 event, which featured a series of five insightful panels.

The first panel, presented by MNP LLP, focused on the critical topics of Health, Wellness, Truth & Reconciliation in the workplace, providing attendees with valuable insights on the importance of truth and reconciliation and overall health.

The second panel, presented by LNG Canada, Haisea Marine and Haisla Nation, delved into the purposeful partnership with a vision for sustainable opportunities and economic reconciliation.

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Collette Melo, also presented by LNG Canada, emphasized the significance of creating a peer-supported Mental Health Awareness program within businesses to promote a healthy workplace.

The third panel, presented by RBC, offered a Multi-Sector Economic Update, which discussed current trends, updates, and their impact on Northern BC.

Lastly, the fourth panel, presented by Coastal Gaslink and TC Energy, focused on the theme of prosperity in the north, exploring what it takes to be prosperous in the north and how to achieve it.

 Overall, the event was a resounding success, providing attendees with an abundance of insights and valuable takeaways.
