Our new fall schedule begins Monday, September 9th. We have kept your favourite classes and added a few more.


New Classes Include:

  • Gentle Yoga with Ivana on Mondays from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
  • Nia with Natasha on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
  • Qigong Flow with Glenda on Tuesdays from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
  • Gentle Yoga with Bhavin on Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (NEW TIME)
  • Yoga Flow 1-2 with Ksenia on Tuesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Yin Yoga with Christina on Saturdays from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

Last year, over 89 children were diagnosed with cancer at CHEO and more than 500 children were in various stages of treatment.


A childhood cancer diagnosis is life altering and can mean aggressive treatments and an uncertain future. CHEO is constantly working to ensure children can get the care they deserve, working to find innovative treatments for safer and gentler care.


24Hr Yogapalooza is an annual charity fundraiser that supports childhood cancer treatments & research at CHEO.


Join us for a special Karma Yoga Class on Sunday, September 15 to raise funds for Yogapalooza.

 

Hosted in studio and led by Shelley Murdock, this 60 minute gentle yoga class will feature a crystal bowl sound bath relaxation with Glenda Rodriguez to close the practice.


Register online and donate in-person on the day of the event. Cash donations will be accepted or donate in-studio by scanning a QR code onsite to direct your payment directly to Yogapalooza.

This Inspired Slow Flow practice includes a slow, calming and strengthening sequence, a balancing breathing technique, a special guided meditation and an integrative guided relaxation.

Join YOQI Certified Associate Instructor Glenda for this invigorating Qigong Flow routine designed to boost your immune system's defensive response.

 

As we head into the colder season, our defenses can be be put to the test due to exposure to external pathogens, damp and blustery weather, and changes to our routine.

 

This class will train your immune system defense response to be ready when needed. This routine uses Qigong movements that focus on the Stomach, Spleen, Lungs and Large Intestine. These exercises are designed to clear Spleen Damp and strengthen your Lung Qi and Wei Qi, your energetic immune system. As a result, the routine is also helpful if you have poor digestion, constipation, or weak Lungs.


Qigong routines use movement, breath, self-massage, sound, visualization and mental intention to balance and harmonize the flow of qi (life force energy) in the body.


Please dress comfortably and bring your yoga mat.
