As we head into the colder season, our defenses can be be put to the test due to exposure to external pathogens, damp and blustery weather, and changes to our routine.
This class will train your immune system defense response to be ready when needed. This routine uses Qigong movements that focus on the Stomach, Spleen, Lungs and Large Intestine. These exercises are designed to clear Spleen Damp and strengthen your Lung Qi and Wei Qi, your energetic immune system. As a result, the routine is also helpful if you have poor digestion, constipation, or weak Lungs.
Qigong routines use movement, breath, self-massage, sound, visualization and mental intention to balance and harmonize the flow of qi (life force energy) in the body.
Please dress comfortably and bring your yoga mat.
