Celebrated every September, Library Card Sign Up Month is a perfect opportunity to unlock a world of endless learning and entertainment. A library card is more than just a piece of plastic; it’s a passport to knowledge, culture, and community engagement.

Signing up for a library card is a simple step that opens the door to these invaluable resources, fostering a love for reading and lifelong learning. Become a BCCLS Groupie

Set out on a BCCLS Library Tour and visit as many libraries as you can by September 30th! Don't miss any of our 78 member libraries, and use your library card (or your barcode on the BCCLS app) to pick up your VIP Library Tour Guest Pass and get it stamped.

Two $50 Visa Gift Cards will be awarded, one for an adult and one for a child. Visit more libraries for more chances to win. If you run out of spaces on your VIP Library Tour Guest Pass, staple another page to it. VIP Library Tour Guest Passes are available at member libraries.

Turn in your BCCLS VIP Library Tour Guest Pass to any BCCLS library by Monday, September 30th. The drawing will take place on Friday, October 11th. Prize winners will be notified by phone.

Be a true library groupie and purchase a Libraries Rock T-shirt to benefit the Mary Joyce Doyle Scholarship fund. Your purchase helps deserving library school students with financial assistance to pursue their Master of Library and Information Science degree.
