Welcome... to the latest issue of
Beyond the Bricks!
Dear Christian Friends,
We come into this season of Thanksgiving knowing that we have much for which to be thankful. God has blessed each of us abundantly. Indeed, as I said in last Sunday's sermon, all that we have and all that we are come from God.
Because all is a gift from God, we are responsible for sharing God's gifts generously. The season of Thanksgiving reminds us that what God has entrusted to us is to be used wisely and well on God's behalf.
So, as you count your blessings this Thanksgiving, give thanks as well for what you have to share with others.
Grace and peace,

The Harmony Park Project is a local partnership raising funds to build a fully accessible and inclusive playground in Bloomington-Normal. Accessible and inclusive playgrounds allow children of ALL abilities the opportunity to play together, improving the play experience for everyone while also promoting social, physical, and psychological health in our community.
Did you know that of communities in Illinois with over 50,000 people, the only two cities without a local accessible playground are Bloomington and Normal? We truly believe that this playground will improve the overall quality of life within our community, particularly for the 3,000 children in Bloomington-Normal with disabilities and developmental delays who lack a playground where they can play safely and independently.
