Welcome... to the latest issue of
Beyond the Bricks!
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
All of us would like to know God's will more completely and follow God's will more faithfully, but we find that difficult to do. We wonder what is God's will for us and how are we to follow it?
Our Lenten theme is Thy Will Be Done, and it will help us explore knowing and doing God's will in every aspect of our lives. Lent begins with Ash Wednesday, February 14th. I invite you to attend our 6:00PM soup supper and 6:30PM worship service that evening and ask what God's will may be for you.
An important part of following God is loving and serving others. We created Beyond the Bricks as a means of informing us about opportunities in our community to help others. Look over this issue of Beyond the Bricks, and perhaps you'll find a way you can make a difference in someone's life. Assisting seniors, supporting the Block Party, and building affordable housing are all promoted below.
What is God asking you to do?
