Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administrator Ray Martinez is leaving his position at the end of this month, to take a new role with the U.S. Dept. of Transportation. As of November 2019, Martinez will oversee redevelopment construction at the John A. Administrator Martinez was the recipient of the Bi-State's 2018 Malcom McLean Memorial Award, in recognition of his personal contributions toward the advancement of the intermodal container industry (shown receiving a Joint Legislative Resolution from Assemblyman Bob Auth, Assemblywoman Annette Quijano, and Assemblyman Jamel Holley.)

Managing Director John Poelma
Last week, APM Terminals North America announced the appointment of Jon Poelma to serve as Managing Director of APM Terminals Port Elizabeth, effective November 1, 2019. He succeeds David Gledhill, who retired last month.
