WakeMed to Host Neighborhood Meeting


WakeMed announced it will hold a neighborhood meeting at 6 p.m. on March 30, 2026, at the Rolesville Community Center to discuss the proposed plans for the future WakeMed Healthplex.


The current plans highlight a 32,000 square-foot facility that will offer a 24/7 emergency department with 12 treatment rooms alongside diagnostic imaging, lab and pharmacy services.

Town Offices Will Close for Good Friday


Town offices will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026, in observance of Good Friday.


If you need to make a payment to the town that day, payments can be made online:


The Planning Department will accept permits on GovWell; however, staff will be out of the office if you have any questions.

Military Banner Applications Close Soon

The Town of Rolesville is still accepting applications for its Military Banner program, which honors service members with ties to Rolesville and their families.


The banners will be displayed on Granite Falls Boulevard between Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Each banner will remain in place for two years. Applications are taken on a first-come, first-served basis due to the limited number of poles. 


The deadline to apply is March 31, 2026.

Staff Member Highlight: Jamie Anderson


If you’ve ever walked into a Town facility and felt comfortable and well cared for, there’s a good chance Jamie Anderson had a hand in it. 

 

As one of our Lead Maintenance Workers, Jamie plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping town buildings running smoothly every day.


From repairing heating and cooling systems to handling a wide range of facility needs, Jamie ensures that our public spaces remain functional and welcoming for both staff and residents.


Outside work, Jamie enjoys coaching his kids' sports teams, serving at his church, and cooking up a delicious stir-fry with beef and bok choy.
