Clark Adds Helmet/Head Injury Specialty
to Experienced Team of Wheeler and Weimer
J. Michio Clark, Ph.D. recently completed a 40 hour Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM) Pedestrian/Bicycle Crash Investigation Course that included determining the area of impact, applying perception/reaction times, and the influence of environmental factors.

Dr. Clark's helmet and head injury specialty is a natural addition to the experienced bicycle accident investigation team of Wheeler and Weimer at Vector Scientific, Inc.

Jeff Wheeler, M.S. (President, Injury Biomechanics; bottom pic) and Zach Weimer, M.S., P.E. (Senior Engineer, Accident Reconstruction) have analyzed numerous bicycle accidents since 1988. Wheeler's experience includes conducting cycling biomechanics research at UCLA sponsored by the US Olympic Committee and collaborations with the US Cycling Team in the early 90's and Italian professional Team Carrera in the 1993 Tour de France. Wheeler's experience as a competitive amateur racer also adds a rider's perspective to analyzing bicycle accidents and he has served as a cycling biomechanics expert on numerous high-profile catastrophic bicycle cases nationwide. Wheeler and Weimer look forward to Dr. Clark adding his helmet performance and head injury expertise to future bicycle accident reconstructions at Vector Scientific.
