CHI is recognized as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by law. The amount of a contribution that is deductible for Federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of the amount paid reduced by the value of any goods or services provided by the organization in return.
Community Housing Innovations, Inc. is a nonprofit organization providing housing and human services that support social and economic independence. CHI operates emergency shelters that provide housing to over 1,000 adults and children each night.
