We'll help foot the bill
Need new windows? We'll help foot the bill. Join our friend Bigfoot in making energy efficiency a part of your spring home improvement projects and get cash back from Chelan PUD. Rebates Are Real!
Go above and beyond in your next house
If a new home is in your plans, consider Chelan PUD’s new construction pilot program.

The PUD is offering $2,000 each for up to 10 homes each year through 2021. To qualify, builders need to show, by modeling energy use, that the home will use 20% less energy than a home that meets current energy codes.

A green home costs more initially but saves in the long run, is healthier to live in and may have higher resale value.
Business owners: More for you in 2020
We've increased several of our business rebates for 2020. Save energy and money on these products:

  • Web-enabled thermostat - $250 for web-enabled thermostats
  • Energy efficient windows - $20 or $10 per square foot of installed windows, depending on heating type.
  • Lighting - For upgrades, 18 cents per kilowatt hour saved per year, up to 75 percent of the cost. For new construction, 6 cents per kilowatt hour saved per year.

Easy to install, easy to use
Customers have good things to say about smart thermostats. In a recent survey:

  • 100% said the thermostat was easy to install
  • 95% said they were "very satisfied" or "satisfied" with their smart thermostat's value and performance
  • 95% said they were "very satisfied" or "satisfied" with the PUD rebate program offering $100 cash back

"My temperature is much easier to control remotely and when in the house," one customer said.

Another commented: "We will know better after we get through the winter how it has affected our bill. However, we love the accuracy of the temperature and we have been keeping our heat lower than before to try to save energy."

Get a smart thermostat, get a rebate, and save up to $30 a year on your electric bill.
