Leslie Brewer’s hometown just happened to be one of the most well-known international tourist destinations – New Orleans. This is where she began her tourism career which continued for 30 years.
Leslie currently holds the position of Director of Marketing and Sales at Destrehan Plantation, Living History Museum in Destrehan, Louisiana.
Her strong background in group sales, operations and business development are the product of over 30 years of work in the hospitality and tourism industry.
Leslie’s past experience includes: Chair of the Tour and Travel Development Committee for the Asheville CVB, Tour and Travel Sales Manager for The Biltmore, Director of Sales for the Culinary Institute of New Orleans, Tour and Travel Sales Manager for Harrah’s Casino, Director of Operations and Sales of Longue Vue House and Gardens, General Manager of the Grenoble House and the Director of Sales at the Park Inn International. She was very active in Louisiana Tourism and Mid-South Women in Tourism. She served on the Louisiana Tourist Development Commission and as officer/board of Louisiana Attraction Association, Louisiana Travel Promotion Association, Louisiana Bed and Breakfast Association, Hospitality Education Networking Association (formerly HSMA) and Mid-South Women in Tourism.
