I am pleased to share with you today some incredibly exciting news regarding the future of the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance (WGBA). Beginning on
July 1st, WGBA will be combing forces with U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and
together we will pilot a new model for USGBC chapters and local market engagement.
WGBA will be
one of the first chapters in the U.S. to integrate into the new structure, meaning our board, staff and volunteers will have greater opportunities to help shape the integration model at the national level!
This integration is a
strategic business decision which will allow us to
enhance our operations and strengthen our focus on Wiscosnin-based education and advocacy about the built environment.
WGBA 2.0 Unveiled (highlights below):
* As an integrated chapter of USGBC we will have more time to focus on our mission and mission related projects & programming. Stay tuned for lots of other exciting announcements in the coming months regarding educational programming and advocacy opportunities in Wisconsin!

* WGBA office is closed for this week as we are moving to a new location (2123 W. Michigan Street, Milwaukee WI 53233). We will host an Open House in August to show off our new digs!
* Match Campaign - We have raised $4,270 so far and there is still time to donate. Remember every dollar you donate between now and Aug. 7th will be matched up to $10,000.
